The Santa Ynez River Wilderness Film and Director Q&A Will be Screened for the Public on August 16 at AUSB
Please join AUSB on Friday, August 16 at 7:00pm when we screen a fascinating documentary, The Santa Ynez River Wilderness – A Natural History, directed by Michael Love, followed by a Q & A discussion with him immediately after.
A movie four years in the making, The Santa Ynez River Wilderness has been described as a love letter to the upper Santa Ynez River watershed. This wildlife-rich and comprehensive natural history of the Santa Barbara back country features prominent local experts in biology, anthropology, and geology. Framed by stunning cinematography of the seasons, flora and fauna, the film offers a deeper understanding of our mosaic of habitats and wildlife.
Each quarter, as part of AUSB’s Social Justice Series, our Environmental Studies faculty and the Fund for Santa Barbara co-sponsor Our Environment in Focus, a collaborative series on contemporary environmental issues affecting our world, free and open to the public.
This free community event will be held on the AUSB campus, 602 Anacapa Street, Santa Barbara, CA. For additional information, contact Dr. Dawn Osborn, BA Program Faculty at firstname.lastname@example.org
