This year’s Master of Arts in Education Public Conversation Poster Session will be Wednesday, June 1, from 4:30-7:30p.m. Each year the Master’s candidates share their research with the community at this informal and public “conversation.”
This year there will be 10 topics:

Developing a Dual Language Immersion Program at an Elementary School
Susana Del Toro
The Effect that Process Vs. Product Has on Young Children
Best Practices: Teaching Reading in English to English Language Learners
Student Voice in Elementary Education Leadership Programs
Promoting Staff and Student Wellness at a Private University
Status of Homework at a Junior High School
Characteristics of Successful Latino College Students in Southern California
Inquiries for an Indigenous Curriculum
An Evaluation of Interpretation and Translation Services for School Districts
Current Status: Latino Parent Involvement in the Santa Barbara Unified School District
Guests will be able to join in conversations of their choice.
“Antioch’s Master’s students benefit greatly from these conversations,” said Gary Delanoeye, Affiliate Faculty with the MAE program. “As they describe their work, their understanding of their topics deepens. The insights they get from the conversations inform their research and help them understand the implications of their research for the discussion chapter of the thesis.”
All members of the AUSB community, including alumni, are cordially invited to this event, and refreshments will be served.
