Antioch Faculty and Friends Perform at Center Stage Theater
Three AUSB writers will perform in Personal Stories, an eclectic collection of original true stories performed by their authors at the Center Stage Theater in Santa Barbara.
Ann Lippincott, Education Faculty, Reading and Literacy Instructor, will perform her story The Walnut; Gary Delanoeye, Education Programs Associate Faculty, from his story Running Away; andBarbara Greenleaf, former Associate Vice Chancellor, Advancement & External Affairs from her story This Old Body. The stories are from their experiences, reflections, and adventures. Delanoeye’s story is from his new collection of short stories, Clean Shorts.
Personal Stories performers range from accomplished professional actors to people appearing in front of an audience for the first time. As authors, they include published, well-established writers and others who are just beginning. Topics of the stories include love, sex, family, childhood misadventures, and more.
The performances will take place on Monday, April 8th and Wednesday, April 10th at 7:30 p.m. A reception on the Center Stage Theater patio will follow each show to toast the actors with cookies and milk. Tickets are $28 general, $18 students and military, and an $18 Early Bird ticket is available for the Monday performance if purchased by Friday, April 5th.
