Social Innovation and Creativity
May 15-18, 2011, Hollyhock Retreat Center: Hollyhock is Canada’s leading educational retreat centre with over 28 years experience, but you can also think of us as a “refuge for your soul”, a place that allows you access to what matters, or simply time to rest, play and achieve wellness in BC.
Train in practical and conceptual tools for stimulating social creativity and innovation. Learn the skills of collaborative leadership for building sustainable communities, organizations and societies. Group reflection, social improvisation, systems thinking and experiential learning are essential to resolve the complex challenges faced by today’s society. Drawing on participants’ own experiences, the wisdom of luminaries like Mohandas Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr. and Nelson Mandela, and the lessons of previous social movements, develop the skills necessary to become an effective leader of creative and collaborative social change.
