Art Therapy Sample Class, August 7
Art therapists use techniques from art to help their clients heal, grow, and actualize their potential. Training students to enter these fields and become professional art therapists naturally involves a great deal of experiential work in the classroom, alternating with discussion to help students integrate experiential and more traditionally academic forms of learning.
Art therapists Elizabeth Donahue and Michael Buchert offer this sample class to give you a flavor for the experiential work and discussion that is typical in classes at Antioch. Attendees are asked to commit to attending the full two-hour class.
