Margaret is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and has seen families in a clinical capacity since 2010. Her previous experience includes community mental health services in East King County, private practice in Denton, TX, Issaquah, WA, and Seattle, WA, intensive outpatient group therapy for geriatric and disabled adults at Bowie Memorial Hospital in Bowie, TX, and school-based family therapy services for the Dallas Independent School District in Dallas, TX. Her qualitative master’s degree research studied parent-child sexuality education in families of persons with autism or Down syndrome, and she teaches parents of neurodiverse children in the community how to talk to about sexuality. She’s been an instructor at Antioch University Seattle since January, 2014, where she teaches master’s students across the curriculum how to be couples and family therapists. In her time away from Antioch, Margaret is a speaker and volunteer for the King County Master Gardener program, where she teaches children and seniors how to grow seasonal gardens.
