Selin Caka is a clinician at Sound Mental Health in Tukwila, and has a small private therapy practice in Downtown Seattle. Previously, she conducted research with adults diagnosed with treatment-resistant depression, and veterans with problem drinking habits at the Group Health Research Institute, as well as spending nearly 10 years as a researcher and educator at the University of Washington Virology Research Clinic, a world-renown center of herpes virus research. Selin has over 20 years experience in sexual health education, and lists dispelling stigma, shame, and misinformation about sexuality among her primary professional and personal goals. She is an active member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists.
