CFT Core Faculty Kirk Honda’s “Psychology in Seattle” Live Show a Success
On Saturday, January 27, 2018, there was standing room only at the AUS CFT Core Faculty Dr. Kirk Honda’s live podcast at Antioch University Seattle. Fans of the podcast flew in from Ireland, Maryland, Pennsylvania, California, and Oregon to attend the live show. Also in attendance were friends, family, and AUS students, alumni, and prospective students. Dr. Honda and his co-host Humberto Castañeda entertained the crowd with psychology trivia, Star Wars reenactments, childhood stories, and other activities. They announced that the podcast raised $2,000 for the Petfinder Foundation, which saves pets from euthanasia by connecting them with loving homes.
When describing the experience, Dr. Honda says, “I can’t tell you how overwhelmingly awesome it was to meet the fans of the show. Over the past 9 years, I have emailed with many of the fans, but it’s really different to actually meet them face-to-face.”
