Marketing, communications, business strategy, and the spaces where business, entrepreneurship, and a progressive sense of the common good intersect – or could intersect – have always fascinated me. I currently serve Antioch University New England as Interim Program Director of the MBA in Sustainability program and as an instructor.

I have spent my career working on behalf of businesses and nonprofits large and small. Some organizations, such as Fidelity Investments, Reebok, Phillips Screw Company, The University System of New Hampshire, and NH Public Radio may be familiar to you. Large or small, clearly identifying your organization’s core purpose, leading with vision, and communicating with an authentic voice drives long-term success.

As a “marketer,” communicating strategically, effectively, and ethically has been my focus. I am an experienced, hands-on marketing and communications professional with expertise in strategic marketing, branding, messaging, and marketing plan development and execution. My tactical experience includes web site development, online marketing, social media, earned media, traditional print and broadcast advertising, direct mail, fundraising and capital campaign support, events, and sales support. I’m a proven team leader with strong project planning and management, client relationship, writing, and presentation skills.

Putting a strong understanding of marketing communications strategies and techniques to work to help move sustainable organizations and social enterprise forward is a tremendous opportunity — and tremendously exciting! When I’m not teaching, I manage a private marketing consulting practice, DavidGeorge Communications. Feel free to explore at DavidGeorgeCommunications.com.

And when I’m not doing that, I’m hiking, kayaking, cross-country skiing, reading, working on a never-ending list of home projects, or serving as the household’s gourmet chef.
