Dr. Jeshana Avent-Johnson is the founder of The Intimacy Seminars & Psychological Services. She is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in family, trauma, sex, and relationship therapy. Dr. Jeshana Avent Johnson is EMDR trained, a certified clinical trauma professional, and a trauma-informed registered yoga instructor. Dr. Avent-Johnson is passionate about the Black community and uses her platform to teach the community about radical healing, self-care, and community care. Dr. Avent-Johnson has been teaching master and doctoral-level students for over 10+ years. She has presented to youth and adults all over the United States, West Africa, and the United Kingdom about healthy relationships and sex. She is married to her high school sweetheart and has two adult children and three grandchildren that call her “Mimi.” You can catch her hosting her own relationship show called Let’s Get Intimate on KBLA1580 AM Talk Radio Saturdays from 5 PM to 7 PM PST and Sundays from 7 PM to 9 PM PST.
