Kader Gümüş is the Director of Information Technology and Data Management at RELI Group Inc. For over a decade, Kader has led Federal Government IT Contracts at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Transportation Security Administration (TSA), focusing primarily on contract management and transition/change management. Before leading IT contracts at DHS-TSA, Kader worked for the U.S. House of Representatives during the 111th, 112th, and 113th congressional terms. She also worked on three congressional transitions and several special elections in a non-political role for over 35 Members of Congress.

Kader graduated Suma Cum Laude with a Master of Science degree in Organization Development and Knowledge Management (ODKM) from George Mason University and a Master of Arts degree in Leadership and Change from Antioch University. She studied European Policy at Oxford University in the U.K. and is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Leadership and Change at Antioch University. Kader is fluent in German, Turkish, French, Spanish, and English.

In 2019, Kader was appointed to the Fairfax County Council to End Domestic Violence (CEDV) as a representative of the immigrant community. Her work with CEDV has led her to engage in public advocacy around domestic violence and violence against women issues in the U.S, focusing on cultural sensitivity and survivor-centered services post-domestic violence. In addition, her expertise extends into various leadership areas such as women’s leadership, trauma-informed leadership, and knowledge management.

Kader considers herself a third-culture immigrant. As a second-generation Turkish Gastarbeiter child, she was born and raised in Köln, Germany, and is a first-generation American. Her family is originally from the Trakya region in Türkiye. She is the proud mother of two children.
