Princess Shareef is a native of Seattle and earned her Master of Education degree at Seattle University and completed her undergraduate degree at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. Princess currently serves as Principal Intern Advocate for the Danforth Principal Leadership Program at the University of Washington.

Princess is a former Principal and instructor with Seattle Public Schools where she led her schools to improve academic achievement, fostered collegial collaboration, led the development and implementation of whole-school rigorous/inclusive STEM programing and built a strong network of community partners and family engagement. She has served as the facilitator of Seattle Public Schools’ African American Male Scholars Think Tank and has provided training in Culturally Responsive Teaching (Seattle) and School Turnaround Process (Council of Great City Schools) and for hundreds of teachers for over 13 years.
