Geri-Lynn received her Master's of Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles, with a specialization in LGBTQ+ Affirmative Psychotherapy.

Dr. Kristienne Brooks currently works at CASA as the Director of Advocacy and has over 20 years of experience in social services working as a social worker at Fred Jefferson Foster family agency, then moving to Five Acres as the Transitional Housing Coordinator.

Currently Behavioral Health Services Director at APLA Health, a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center which restores dignity and trust within underserved communities by providing world-class LGBTQ+ empowering healthcare, support services, and HIV specialty care.

The thing I love most about my job as a therapist is helping couples find better ways of communicating. Dysfunctional communication dynamics are so easy for people to fall into, and I love helping them find new ways of being vulnerable and expressing their underlying emotions and needs to each other.

I have been teaching for over 15 years in a variety of modalities, including fully online, hybrid, and on-ground. I am also a Psychologist and Sex Therapist and have a practice.
