Writing Support at Antioch
We are here to serve all Antioch University students with your writing needs. We encourage students, faculty, and staff to seek out our free support services at any stage of the writing process, for any project, and for any discipline of study.
Our department is made up of three branches of support, with each offering a slightly different tutoring modality designed to meet the unique needs of Antioch’s diverse student body. You may work with a single branch of service or across all three branches, depending on your specific needs.
A proud partner of the Office of Inclusive Excellence and Student Affairs, we are committed to delivering services informed by social, racial, economic, and environmental justice and dismantling systems of oppression that are entrenched in the academic writing pedagogy.
In the Writing Support Department, we recognize that writing can sometimes feel like a solitary activity and that translating thoughts and ideas into words can be a challenge. Through the various services we offer, our Professional and Peer Writing Specialists, coaches, editors, and staff hope to be a supportive pillar for you and your writing as you journey along!
