Antioch has several scholarship opportunities for new students. The applications can be found below. Criteria may vary, so be sure to review each scholarship listing to determine your eligibility. $4,000 Antioch University Seattle Student Excellence Scholarship (Awarded Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters) — This scholarship recognizes an outstanding scholarship applicant. This is a one-time, $4,000 scholarship.
$5,000 Berglund Family Scholarship (Awarded Fall Quarter) — Made possible from the Berglund Family Endowment. This scholarship is awarded to a female student entering the B.A. Liberal Studies or M.A. Psychology programs with demonstrated financial need. Preference is given to single mothers.
$3,000 Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship (Awarded Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters) — This scholarship is for new transfer B.A. Completion students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa, and recognizes their outstanding academic achievement. The scholarship is renewable for up to 8 quarters, for a maximum total value of $6,000.
$2,000 National Service Scholarship (Awarded Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters) — This scholarship is open to new students who have contributed to one of the following national service programs: AmeriCorps, Peace Corps and VISTA. Award to one new student each quarter who is a full-time AmeriCorps member, or who is an AmeriCorps, VISTA or Peace Corps alumnus who has completed at least one year of full-time service. This $2,000 scholarship can be renewed for a second year for a maximum total value of $4,000.
$2,000 Richard Norris Native American Scholarship (Awarded Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters) — This scholarship recognizes Richard Norris’ many contributions to the Antioch University Seattle Community, and seeks to honor his commitment to student service by supporting and recognizing the potential of a new Native American, Alaskan Native, or Native Hawaiian AUS student. This is a one-time, $2,000 scholarship.
$1,800 Anima Mundi Scholarship (Awarded Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters) — In honor of the career and legacy of Antioch’s professor emeritus Randy Morris, this scholarship supports students with a strong interest and commitment to spiritual studies. Eligible continuing students in the BA Completion program are contacted directly each quarter with application instructions. This is a one-time, $1,800 scholarship.
$500 Pat Linn Scholarship (Awarded Fall Quarter) — This scholarship was established to recognize Dr. Linn‘s remarkable achievements during her 30-year tenure at Antioch and to provide PsyD students with more support for their research pursuits. Eligible continuing students in the Psy.D. program are contacted directly with application instructions. This is a one-time, $500 scholarship, awarded to two continuing PsyD students each Fall quarter.
