Make a Report

Home About Title IX Make a Report

There are several options for reporting a concern of sex- or gender-based discrimination and sexual misconduct. You may make a report online here, or you may disclose a concern to the Title IX Coordinator, a Deputy Title IX Coordinator, or speak to a staff or faculty member.

All university employees are designated as individuals who must inform the Title IX Coordinator when they become aware of issues that potentially violate the university’s Title IX Policy.

When you report a concern, the Title IX Coordinator will begin by inviting you to an initial discussion. The purpose of this conversation is to discuss available resources, supportive measures, and resolution options. You can choose what information you would like to share with the Title IX Coordinator.

If you are interested in learning more about engaging in the investigation process by bringing forward a formal complaint of sexual misconduct, please review our policy or contact the Title IX Coordinator.

As you consider your options, it is important to keep a few things in mind:

  • Support is available to you throughout the reporting process. If you would like to talk to a confidential resource before reporting, WellConnect is a great place to start. WellConnect can provide you with free, confidential counseling and support.
  • Disclosing a concern to the Title IX Coordinator doesn’t automatically initiate an investigation. Unless there is an immediate or ongoing risk to individual or community safety, choices regarding next steps will generally be left up to you.
  • View our policy to learn more about Confidentiality and Privacy as well as Amnesty.

The Title IX Coordinator and Deputy Title IX Coordinators are available to answer any questions you may have about reporting options.

If you are in immediate danger and need help, call 911.
