The CMHC low residential (predominantly online) program is designed to provide flexibility for students who need to attend part-time. However, recent federal financial aid regulation changes have created limits on how long students may remain eligible for certain types of financial aid. Because the online CMHC program is 40 months in length, some students attending at a part-time pace may reach those federal eligibility limits before completing their degree. Unfortunately, these financial aid regulations do not allow exceptions based on program structure or part-time enrollment. Students are strongly encouraged to speak with Financial Aid at [email protected] or 937-909-1852 and their academic advisor early in their program to better understand how enrollment pace may affect future aid eligibility.
