Types of Financial Aid

Many of the program’s students utilize a number of payment options including tuition payment plans, employer reimbursement, Tax Relief Act of 1997 (TRA 97), scholarships and fellowships, and U.S. federal governmental loans including the unsubsidized Federal Direct Loan and the Grad Plus Loan.

Deferment of previous loans

Students who are enrolled in either the MLP or PhD programs may have previous federal student loans deferred while they are enrolled.

Some states require students to maintain full-time status to be eligible for deferment of state-funded loans. The financial aid office can assist students with the specifics of their loan regulations.
