Admissions Process
Undergraduate
Antioch University Online’s requirements for candidates to the bachelor completion programs include:
- At least 24 semester credits of transferable undergraduate work completed from a regionally accredited college or university
- Resume
- Essay
Additional information may be required, such as:
- Two letters of recommendation (if requested)
- Completion of an admissions interview with a faculty member (if requested)

Graduate
Master’s of Human Services Administration
- Online Application (No Application fee)
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university or an institution recognized by regional accreditation: exceptions may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis using faculty’s professional judgment such as cases of international degree. Antioch Online will accept degrees earned under the terms of the Bologna Declaration.
- Undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 (exceptions may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis using faculty’s professional judgment)
- One letter of recommendation (Writer should know the applicant in a professional or academic context)
- Current resume
- Admission essay
- Reading & Writing in English Proficiency Assessment (if applicable) or TOEFL score of 550 “paper-based”, 214 “computer-based”, and 79 “internet-based or higher.
- GMAT or GRE not required

MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Admission Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7
- International students must live in the U.S. and have a TOEFL score of 550 for the paper-based test or 79 for the internet-based examination
- Supplementary admissions statement
- Resume
- Three letters of recommendation
- Completion of an admissions interview with a faculty member
