Educational History
Heather Warfield has a PhD in counseling & counselor education from North Carolina State University. Her dissertation was on the therapeutic benefits of contemporary pilgrimage with a cognate focus in international comparative counseling practices. She also has a MA in psychology from Chapman University and a BA in psychology from the College of St. Scholastica.
Research
She has continued to research the therapeutic and psychological dimensions of pilgrimage and has also written about clinical supervision, ethical decision-making and spiritual identity development.
