Heather Warfield, PhD

Heather has worked as Teaching Faculty for the CMHC AUC program for the 2015 – 2016 academic year and will be transitioning to Core Faculty this year.
Heather Warfield has a PhD in counseling & counselor education from North Carolina State University. Her dissertation was on the therapeutic benefits of contemporary pilgrimage with a cognate focus in international comparative counseling practices. She also has a MA in psychology from Chapman University and a BA in psychology from the College of St. Scholastica.
She has continued to research the therapeutic and psychological dimensions of pilgrimage and has also written about clinical supervision, ethical decision-making and spiritual identity development.
