Kaela Farrise is a researcher, speaker, mental health advocate, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University in African and African American Studies and in Urban Studies, as well as a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University.

Victor Cohen, PhD, BA Yale University and PhD Clinical Psychology, University of Michigan, has been adjunct faculty at Antioch Los Angeles in the MAP Program since the Spring of 1995.

Jared Becknell teaches and supervises masters counseling students on their way to becoming mental health professionals. During the pandemic, he moved and worked in Alaska with children and families that struggle with a wide range of concerns and challenges.

Dr. Jeshana Avent-Johnson is the founder of The Intimacy Seminars & Psychological Services. She is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in family, trauma, sex, and relationship therapy. Dr. Jeshana Avent Johnson is EMDR trained, a certified clinical trauma professional, and a trauma-informed registered yoga instructor.

Adam F. Yerke, PsyD is a licensed psychologist in California and specializes in topics related to gender and sexuality. He is currently core faculty in the MA Psychology (MAP) Program at Antioch University in Los Angeles.
