Dramatic Writing Series Info Session (Part 3 of 3)| AU

October 10 @ 5:00 pm 6:30 pm PDT

Antioch University Dramatic Writing Series: How to Write a Play in a Day

Now that you are starting to craft your story, discover a medium where you can convey your story simply through your characters and dialogue. Learn the mechanics of writing ten-minute plays (the most widely produced plays) and learn how to structure your story in the confines of ten minutes. (Part 3 of a series, but attendees may take this workshop independently of the others.)

Whether you are new to creative writing or a professional looking for your next step in the dramatic arts, join us for this 3-part series to discuss the ins and outs of dramatic writing for screen or stage. Colette Freedman, a top Hollywood script doctor and ghostwriter, will present this series. Colette is the Dramatic Writing Program Officer at Antioch University, where she mentors students in screenwriting, TV writing, and playwriting.

Join us virtually (via Zoom) on Thursday, October 10, 2024, 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM PDT to dive in and learn more about dramatic writing. Want to learn more about earning your MFA in Creative Writing? Stay after the workshop to be connected with an Admissions Counselor!
