Imagine sitting around the fireplace with trusted friends and colleagues, sharing recent experiences, and reflecting on the world around us. This one-hour Zoom ‘fireside chat’ will try to capture that depth, trust, and compassion as two amazing Texas activists share reflections on what is happening in their state and the struggle to protect civil rights and human rights. Let’s call it a “Fireside Case Study” to see what we can learn about one state that can help us understand what is happening across the country.

Oni K. Blair is the executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Texas and Froswa’ Booker has an extensive background in nonprofit management, partnership development, training, and education.
