Adam F. Yerke, PsyD, is a licensed psychologist in California and specializes in topics related to gender and sexuality. He is currently core faculty in the MA Psychology (MAP) Program at Antioch University in Los Angeles. Dr. Yerke’s scholarship interests focus on sociocultural and legal issues affecting transgender and gender-diverse populations. He has published on timely topics, such as transgender people and the military, transgender youth athletes, and intimate partner violence among transgender people. Additionally, he conducts interactive and educational training for professional organizations and the general community.

Dr. Yerke’s expertise in sexuality extends to the forensic arena, as he specializes in the evaluation and treatment of individuals convicted of sexual offenses. He is a state-appointed risk assessment trainer and routinely trains practitioners and evaluators throughout California. Dr. Yerke is a state-certified Independent Practitioner and enjoys conducting supervision with clinicians entering the field. He is the past Chair of the South Los Angeles Chapter of the California Coalition on Sexual Offending.
