Ashley Simons received her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Central Arkansas in 2012 and her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Anatomy from The Ohio State University in 2019. She is a classically trained clinical anatomist with nine years of experience in cadaver-based and technology-based anatomy education at a variety of higher education institutes. She has published and presented at the state and national level on anatomy education and innovations. Her research interests include musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging and the study of how anatomy education is translated to expert clinical practice within the physical therapist profession.
