Received her doctorate in clinical psychology at Antioch University New England in 1988, and her Masters in Theological Studies & Pastoral Counseling from Episcopal Divinity School in 1978. Dr. Belcher-Timme completed her internship at Northampton State Hospital. She maintains a private practice in Brattleboro, Vermont.

As a generalist, Dr. Belcher-Timme has been treating adults, children, families, and couples for 30 years. She has special training in alcoholism, end of life issues, bereavement, eating disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and forensic competency evaluations. She has taught at Antioch since 1993 providing advisement, supervision, and for most of those years serving in the role of Associate Faculty Representative to the management team. She has taught Professional Seminar, Case Conference, School Consultation, and The Psychology of Loss. During calendar year 2006 she served as Interim Director of Practica. She is licensed in New Hampshire and Vermont.
