Librarians are natural connectors. Every student deserves the connections a good librarian brings to a school. Building relationships enables students to feel seen in the world and enhances the work librarians do in connecting readers and learners to the world. As a practicing librarian, I work to help new librarians build the connections needed to be supported professionally. Professional networks strengthen our practices as librarians ultimately grow student learners.
