Carolyn Vibbert is a practicing school librarian in Northern Virginia with over 20 years of experience as an educator. She has previous experience as a librarian in North Carolina and as a classroom teacher of fourth grade students. Vibbert holds National Board Certification in K-12 Library Media.
Vibbert is a past president of the Virginia Association of School Librarians. She has served on several committees of the American Association of School Librarians (AASL) and presented at local, state, and AASL National Conferences. Her wide range of professional interests include connecting new librarians to professional networks, advocacy, gaming in libraries, and intellectual freedom.
