Donna has been enjoying life as a high school librarian in southern Maryland for over 20 years. She is a strong advocate for school libraries and the vital role of school librarians. She believes the best form of advocacy is active involvement, which has led her to serve as president of the Maryland Association of School Librarians (MASL) and to continue contributing through committees with both MASL and AASL. Passionate about teaching “the literacies”, Donna is committed to preparing students to graduate as independent thinkers and positive contributors to a global society.
