Eryn Duffee is an adjunct faculty member in Antioch University’s School Library Endorsement Program, currently teaching School Library Advocacy. She is the teacher-librarian at Edmonds Heights K-12 in the Edmonds School District and has also worked as a middle school teacher-librarian in Madison, TN. 

Eryn’s school-based practice centers on equitable access to information, Universal Design for Learning, rigorous collection development, and preparing students with media literacy, digital citizenship, and research skills. She collaborates closely with educators to ensure libraries function as inclusive, responsive learning ecosystems that meet the needs of all students.

In addition to her K-12 work, Eryn brings extensive leadership and advocacy experience at the state and national levels. She is President of the 2026 Washington Library Association and the co-author of Strengthening Library Ecosystems (ALA Publishing, 2024). Eryn is a recipient of the Library Journal Movers & Shakers Award (2023) and the WLA President’s Award (2025).

Previously, Eryn co-founded the Tennessee Library Ecosystem Coalition, a multi-organizational advocacy effort addressing intellectual freedom and equitable access across library types. She has served on the American Library Association’s Committee on Library Advocacy and has presented nationally on advocacy, leadership, and intellectual freedom.
