Gregory Whiteman is an Adjunct Professor living near Lexington, Kentucky, and teaching in the AUS School Library Endorsement program. His 41-year education career included classroom teacher, school principal, district administrator, international educator, and university instructor. He served in three Washington state school districts, at international schools in Ghana, Nigeria, and Hong Kong, and with two universities in the Pacific Northwest. He received the Washington Library Media Association Supervisor of the Year award and served on the national K-12 Advisory Councils for Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard.
Greg’s current activities include developing and facilitating professional learning for a national non-profit focused on helping schools close opportunity gaps, consulting with an international school in Brazil, and participating as faculty in the SLE program.
