Jaswinder Bolina’s latest book, English as a Second Language and Other Poems,is available now from Copper Canyon Press. His previous books include the essay collection Of Color (McSweeney’s 2020) and the poetry collections The 44th of July (Omnidawn 2019), Phantom Camera (New Issues Press 2013), and Carrier Wave (CLP 2007). His poems have appeared at venues including The New Yorker, Poetry, American Poetry Review, and others. His essays have been featured in the Washington Post, Paris Review, The Believer, and elsewhere. He teaches on the faculty of the MFA program in creative writing at the University of Miami, where he also serves as Chair of the Department of English & Creative Writing.
