Jennifer LaGarde is a lifelong educator and learner. With over twenty years of experience in public education, Jennifer has served as a classroom teacher, a Nationally Board Certified teacher-librarian, a digital teaching and learning specialist, district-level support staff and a state-wide leader as a consultant for both the NC Department of Public Instruction and the Friday Institute for Instructional Innovation.
In addition to her work with Antioch, Jennifer also consults with school districts around the country to build the very best school library programs possible for the learners she serves. She also continues to teach Young Adult Literature and Emerging Literacies, for preservice librarians, at Rutgers University.
