As an educator, I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and student-centered environment where all learners feel empowered to participate, make mistakes, and grow. I believe that open communication and mutual respect are essential to fostering a supportive classroom culture. Ground rules and open dialogue help students feel comfortable engaging in discussions, even when perspectives differ.
My teaching emphasizes personalized learning and active participation. I use a variety of instructional methods—such as lectures, videos, hands-on activities, and diverse assignments like infographics and discussion boards—to engage students and accommodate different learning styles. I incorporate student feedback throughout the semester to continuously refine my approach and keep learning relevant and dynamic.
Rooted in my background in athletic training, I bring a patient-centered mindset into the classroom by focusing on each student’s unique strengths and goals. I make an effort to get to know my students personally, using tools and assignments to build community and connection. My ultimate goal is to be a reliable resource and partner in my students’ academic and professional development.
