Dr. Harrold is a licensed marriage and family therapist (123211) with the Board of Behavioral Science in CA. She received her MS at Loma Linda University and PsyD at Alliant International University. Her doctoral research focused on examining monogamous relational therapists' experiences when working with consensual non-monogamous clients.

She has worked with students in and out of the classroom, online and on-ground campuses. Her teaching, supervision, and mentorship style is collaborative, strength-based, scaffolding, and experiential through a systemic and social justice lens. Dr. Harrold’s therapeutic approach comes from a narrative, attachment, trauma-informed, affirmative, experiential, family systems theoretical lens. She is passionate about working with clients around identity development, romantic relationships, and healing from trauma.
