Lacey Peters, MA, LMFT a licensed marriage and family therapist, has been a counselor for the UC Santa Barbara, Alcohol and Drug Program for over 8 years. In addition to providing group and individual counseling, she provides leadership in implementing evidence-based curriculum, therapeutic interventions, and comprehensive assessment/evaluation tools for the UCSB Alcohol and Drug Program.
Lacey received a B.S. in Health Promotion with an emphasis in Community Health Education from Northern Arizona University in 2002 and her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Santa Barbara in 2006.
Lacey has worked in a variety of therapeutic settings including UCSB Student Health Services, Cottage Hospital COPE Outpatient Program, Cottage Hospital Psychiatric Services, Casa Serena, The Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, and The Academy of Healing Arts (AHA!).
In addition to her work at UCSB maintains a private practice in Santa Barbara specializing in working with millennials and young professionals.
Lacey’s other interests include being artistic, going to the beach, traveling, hearing live music, and enjoying Santa Barbara with her friends and family.
