Leann spent the majority of her career in public schools beginning by teaching Head Start and primary grades. After fourteen years, she moved into administration serving as Elementary Principal, Coordinator of Elementary Education, Coordinator of Program Improvement and Coordinator of Evaluation and Research. She then began supervising student teachers in the Puget Sound area for many of the local universities. It was in this role that she became acquainted with Antioch. Currently she is Co-Director of Field Experiences continuing to work with student teachers. In addition to teaching the Support Seminar which prepares candidates for the Education Teacher Performance Assessment (edTPA), the state licensure requirement, she also teaches the Strategies for Instruction and Assessment.
