Michael Valentine, PhD

Michael Valentine, PhD holds over 30 years of experience as a Human Resource leader, consultant, and coach working to contribute positive business results in a wide range of sectors. He has accumulated extensive experience developing teams, increasing human resource capacity, developing organizational inclusive practices, and enhancing leadership effectiveness through action learning. He is the Founder and Managing Partner at TruEdge Consulting and Clinical Assistant Professor of Human Capital Programs at New York University’s School of Professional Studies. Dr. Valentine earned a Juris Doctor (JD) from Temple University School of Law and a Bachelors (BA) in Political Science from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. His PhD in Leadership and Change research focused on leadership behavior change in complex systems. Additionally, he holds coaching certifications from the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara and Case Western Reserve and is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), The Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), and The OD Network.
