My goal as an instructor is to create learning environments that spark curiosity for adult learners. I invite all my students to be reflective about their own strengths and the strengths and talents of others. I encourage all students to see themselves as weavers, always looking for new ways to weave together content about people, communities, and the planet. Ultimately, I want my students to have the content they need, the insights they long for, and the convictions they need to bring fresh energy and perspective to their homes, work, communities, and the world. Being a change agent is not always easy, but my ultimate goal is to equip Antioch students with the personal fortitude and societal awareness so they and others can thrive even in complexity.
