Dr. Porshia Daniels is a counselor educator with an earned Doctor of Philosophy in Rehabilitation Counseling and Rehabilitation Counselor Education from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. She began her counselor professional identity at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke (UNCP). Dr. Daniels pursued a Master of Arts in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UNCP, where she engaged in several presentations and conferences centered on mental health and wellness for diverse individuals.
Currently, Dr. Daniels serves as an Outcome and Accreditation Chair and Core Faculty in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program with Antioch University Seattle. She devotes her time and passion through teaching, service, and research responsibilities. Her research interests are quite diverse and include multicultural counseling, counseling supervision best practices, and global mental health issues. Dr. Daniels is most recognized for her research-driven perspective and dedication to inspiring diverse populations through teaching in the counseling profession.
