Giving Societies
The 1852 Society

As Antioch University responds to the needs and expectations of students across the country and online, we lean into the pride and traditions that have made us great while remaining keenly focused on the future.
Founded in 1852, the roots of Antioch run deep, and your commitment to our mission is important to our success. Join us in honoring our history and help us secure the future of our students with a gift of $1,852 or more.
The 1852 Society plays a vital role in every aspect of moving Antioch forward. By contributing annually to support scholarships and the Antioch University Fund, you help the University make a meaningful difference in the lives of today’s Antiochians. Whether you choose to one or more of these valuable aspects of the education experience, you ensure that deserving students can attend Antioch and that the leadership of the institution can address the University’s most urgent priorities—your contribution makes an impact. With your support, we will continue to WIN ONE FOR HUMANITY!
Membership in the 1852 Society is granted on an annual basis and calculated based on Total Annual Contributions during our fiscal year, from July 1 to June 30, which include matching gifts, installment payments, or monthly giving (for example $1,852 is roughly $154.33/month) to budget relieving funds across the University.
As a small expression of our gratitude annual members receive the following:
- Special Event Considerations - receive invitations to special 1852 Society and other VIP opportunities, and enjoy priority seating at select University events and programs;

The Legacy Society
The Legacy Society was established to honor those individuals and households who have made a lasting commitment to the future of Antioch University by including the institution in their estate plans. These gifts can include bequests, retirement plans, real estate, retained life estates, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, and charitable lead trusts, among others.
Legacy Society members may be honored throughout the year at special events and in University publications.
Legacy Society members will also be connected to a member of the Office of Institutional Advancement that will serve as a primary point of contact at the University to help provide information, insider updates, and connection to University leadership.
Members are changing the future of Antioch University by documenting declarations of their intentions.
If you have included Antioch University in your estate plans, please let us know because we would enjoy the opportunity to acknowledge and thank you!
