Academic Support

Academic support – personal, accessible, flexible

Our students live all over the world and work full-time… and then some. They need personalized and individualized attention to support their graduate needs at almost any hour. Antioch’s GSLC provides high-quality academic support around the clock, with its own full-time graduate research librarian entirely dedicated to the students of this Graduate School, and its two degrees. Personalized library support, digital library services – Online, at home, any time, any place Whether in the PhD Program and working towards one’s Dissertation, we have library services that are highly individualized both to you and to your program. Personal and prompt attention is our hallmark. No matter where you live or where you work, digital library resources (databases, document delivery, eBooks, etc.) are accessible 24/7. In-person library collaboration (one-on-one searches and consultations with our extraordinary librarian) is available during the week and weekends to work with your flexible schedule. The library also offers workshops and residency sessions covering everything from orientation to the library digital space, to targeted curricular instruction, a scaffold of support throughout the PhDLC Dissertation.

Personalized writing support – Online, at home, any time, any place Whether in the PhD Program facing the challenges of writing doctoral-level assignments or the Dissertation, we have writing services that are highly individualized.  Here too, personal and prompt attention is our hallmark. Online writing resources are available 24/7, the reviewing and editing of the first five pages of any assignment for your program is available, and one-on-one consultations are easily scheduled during the week and weekends.  Our extraordinary writing director also offers a series of monthly virtual workshops for GSLC students and alumni.
