Job Description
The Academic Technology Student Assistant will help develop training and support materials and offer support for faculty and students on Sakai, Zoom, Panopto, other Academic Technology and teaching and learning topics. Hours will include outlining and drafting training materials, building and updating those materials, attending Zoom sessions with students and faculty and/or receiving training and guidance from AT staff. Hours devoted will change based on the skill set of the student worker and needs based on the time of the term.
Qualifications
- Excellent professional written and verbal communication
- Ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding for clients needing support Comfort and skill learning and using technology, particularly, Sakai, Zoom, Panopto, Google Tools, MS Office
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with others on projects
- Attention to detail and documentation
