Percentage of time that could be remote (0-100%): All hours can be performed remotely. If a student is near an AU campus, occasional place-based work would be desired, but not required.

Method to assess remote work: Outcomes would be project based. Work would be assessed by the supervisors and by the C team. Check-ins would be weekly, and periodic reviews could take place quarterly.

Job Description

This position would be responsible for support of Continuing Education and Community Outreach. General duties include:

  • filing and data organization (approx 2 to 5 hours a week)
  • data entry (5 to 10 hours a week)
  • program research and reporting (2 to 5 hours a week)
  • creating small data tables and reports (2 to 5 hours a week)
  • and office support as needed.Responsibilities also include event support:
  • Marketing planning and implementation including social media platforms and posting(2 to 5 hours a week)
  • Managing all aspects of attendance (designing attendance forms, collecting RSVP’s) (2 to 5 hours a week)
  • Preparing for and attending online community and continuing education events (occasional evenings and weekends) (2 to 5 hours a week)


  •  General working knowledge of MS office suite.
  • Previous experience with Adobe Acrobat, Constant Contact, Canva, and graphic design software are a plus, but training can be provided.
  • Excellent communication skills and preference for candidates that have registration software and/or event experience and strong interest in community engagement.
