Job Description
- The position will include up to 15 hours of work per week including the following:
- Work with other counseling students across the university to expand student participation in Counselors for Social Justice (CSJ);
- Help to plan and implement one CSJ event during the semester;
- Research and compile resources for students related to experiences of BIPOC, queer, trans, non-binary, neurodivergent, and other intersecting marginalized communities to be shared with counseling students and faculty, supplementing current curriculum materials
Qualifications
- Experience with community organizing and/or event planning, social media, or other communication platforms
- Understanding of intersectionality
- Dedication to social justice advocacy
- Clinical Mental Health Counseling student
