Job Description

  • The position will include up to 15 hours of work per week including the following:
  • Work with other counseling students across the university to expand student participation in Counselors for Social Justice (CSJ);
  • Help to plan and implement one CSJ event during the semester;
  • Research and compile resources for students related to experiences of BIPOC, queer, trans, non-binary, neurodivergent, and other intersecting marginalized communities to be shared with counseling students and faculty, supplementing current curriculum materials

Qualifications

  • Experience with community organizing and/or event planning, social media, or other communication platforms
  • Understanding of intersectionality
  • Dedication to social justice advocacy
  • Clinical Mental Health Counseling student
