Job Description
- Together with the Editor-in-Chief and under advisement from the MFA core faculty and staff, Submission Review Managing Editor leads and supports Lunch Ticket Reading Teams.
- Responsibilities:
• Leads and supports the team of the journal’s lead editors (7 hours)
• Leads one reading team (5 hours)
• Supports the editor in chief in different areas of the journal’s operations (2 hours)
• Trains reading teams on submittable (2 hours)
• Keeps reading teams on schedule (2 hours)
• Helps make final publication selections (1 hour)
• Tracs, logs, and analyzes the magazine's submission statistics (1 hour)
Qualifications
- Must be a currently enrolled MFA Student;
- Minimum two terms on Lunch Ticket team in various positions;
- Completion of the MFA Field Study (if it was Lunch Ticket).
- Ideally previous editorial experience on other journals.
