Location: AULA (Off-campus while the campus is closed; on campus when the campus re-opens)
Job Description and Minimum Qualifications:
This position will be supervised by MFA program coordinators. MFA Program Assistant supports MFA Program Coordinators and other MFA team members in day-to-day duties, as well as during the MFA residencies in June and in December. This position requires an organized person with attention to detail and a friendly customer service approach. The ideal candidate is a team player, has a positive attitude, and strong verbal and written communication skills. They must possess the ability to multitask and re-prioritize as additional tasks arise. The job requires comfortable knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google applications (Word, Excel, Access, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc), and a willingness to learn new software applications. Adobe Acrobat is a plus, but we can provide training.
Job duties include:
- general administrative support
- maintaining filing system and database records
- assistance during events (MFA residencies in June and December)
- set-up and breakdown during on-campus events
- Zoom support during virtual residency
