Job Description

This position is responsible to provide support for the Director of Clinical Training (DCT) for the Psy.D. Program to assist with the processing of student paperwork and tracking and documenting various student activities and administrative tasks. You will work directly with the DCT and may also interface with additional Work-Study employees and program associates.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Tracking of assigned student paperwork using spreadsheets, maintaining logs, collecting and posting clinical training documents on Sakai
  • Some filing of student paperwork in student advisory files
  • Assist in coordinating Time2Track registration for supervisors and adding sites to the program documentation of student training hours
  • Assist with special projects including editing or preparing documents and teaching materials
  • Possible compiling of data and creating simple tables and presentations
  • Due to COVID-19, most all tasks will be done remotely and communication with supervisor will be by phone, email, and zoom. Some
  • Position may occasionally require on-campus filing (social distanced and managed with facilities directors).

Qualifications

  • Very good to excellent computer and spreadsheet skills
  • Ability to learn quickly, work independently with strong self-directed work ethic
  • Well-developed organizational skills
  • Experience with Excel preferred
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively with faculty and students; well developed interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience in human services, psychology, or academia is a plus
