Job Description and Any Special Skills:
Remote Customer Service Assistants will staff virtual front desks to provide assistance to students, staff, faculty, and guests of the university during remote operations.
Specific duties shall include hosting and moderating virtual service desks, providing accurate information and referrals to customers, delivering timely communication and follow-through with colleagues and customers, providing personable and professional service in a high-touch environment, and other related duties as assigned.
Successful candidates must be familiar with and able to become proficient with the Zoom videoconferencing platform, Microsoft Office, G Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.), and the Sakai Learning Management System. Successful candidates must also have sufficient computing equipment and internet service at home to use Zoom, Microsoft Office, G Suite, Sakai, and other administrative programs specific to programs and departments.
